Have you ever played a war game and wished their was more maps or wished it had a more interesting setting? Have you ever wanted to play a war game that balances strategy and complexity? This game may be for you.
This game has endless varieties. Each game will have a unique map in which players will have to adjust.
In this game, four races are battling over the continent. Each race has two abilities, a favored terrain, capitals, and special sacred sites. Additionally, fertile grounds benefit any player who owns the associated territories. Winning battles and having sacred sites earns the players victory points. Owning favored terrain and fertile grounds give players additional troops. Players must be sure not to lose their capitals since the capitals determine how many actions the players receive each turn.
Humanoid
Each player selects a humanoid, and each humanoid has special abilities. Elves, for instance, excel at fighting in forests and attacking from distance.
Era cards constantly change the flow of the game. Players need to adapt their strategies in response to the changing gameplay. There are two examples below.
Famine causes players to accumulate less units during the era. This can frustrate any player planning to make a big attack.
Mobility benefits players who have enough units to make many attacks. In one turn, they can conquer a substantial amount of the board.
