Zach Hackman
Zach was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He went to South Christian High School, Calvin College, and eventually Calvin Seminary. In 2020, he married the love of his life, Neha Hackman. Together, they have six kids. He currently works at Bethany Christian services and attends Calvary Church.
Zach grew up playing games like Risk with its many variants, Axis and Allies, and Dungeons and Dragons. In his 20's, he was reintroduced to gaming through games like Catan, Puerto Rico, Carcassonne, and many others.
Zach saw a gap in wargaming. He wanted to create a wargame that included all of his favorite things about gaming. This game would include a fantasy setting with an endlessly variable map. The game could be with a few players or a whole group of people. Most importantly, he wanted the game to have various levels of strategy, but not unapproachable by casual gamers.
